I have resided in many places in my life, because my father served in the U.S. Air Force. I have also traveled to places in my adult life. Traveling is one of my hobbies.

Birthplace: McCord AFB, Tacoma, WA
I was born on March 29, 1976, in a military hospital at McCord AFB which is located in Tacoma, Washington. I do not remember much about this place, because I was only a baby. After a couple years, my family relocated to another air force base.

I lived in Florida while I was in pre-school, kindergarten, and first grade. Again, I do not remember much because I was very young. I do remember going to the beach and playing in the sand.

Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan
Between the second and seventh grades, I experienced something that not many Americans get to experience: living in a foreign country. We moved to Okinawa, Japan. Okinawa is an island near Taiwan, but is actually owned by Japan. Okinawa is nicknamed "The Keystone to the Pacific" because it is a strategic military location that is within distance of mainland Japan, North and South Korea, China, Taiwan, and the Phillipines. Okinawa is an island that is about 65 miles long and on average 7 miles wide. Growing up here, I learned a lot about Japanese culture and learned to love the food. Because I went to an American school and lived on base, I only learned a few Japanese words and phrases. Someday I wish to return to Okinawa and also visit the mainland country.

Peoria, AZ
In 1989, before I started the eighth grade, the Air Force stationed my father at Luke Air Force Base. This is where my father finally retired from the service. Three years ago, I purchased a house in Peoria, Arizona where I currently reside. I enjoy living near a big city (Phoenix), because there is so much to do. To this day, I still do not enjoy the long hot summers. My school and work is keeping me from moving elsewhere.
